UV weathering test chamber is to simulate the sun lighting, and it’ s specialized in the simulation of products in outdoors for a long time. The ultraviolet radiation in the sun is destructive on its exposure, only a few days or weeks, the equipment can
reproduce the destruction outdoors for months or years. And then to see whether the product has fading, discoloration, brightness decline, powder, cracking, blurred,brittle, decreased strength and oxidation phenomena, while it can reproduce the
destruction of rain and dew.
There are several different types of fluorescent UV lamps that have unique spectral characteristics. Fluorescent black lights, referred to as UV-A lamps, are available with peak emissions of 340 nm – 370 nm (e.g., UVA-340 and UVA-351). In the UVA-340 lamp, the short wavelength irradiance simulates that of direct solar radiation below 325 nm. Fluorescent UV-B lamps (UVB-313), with a peak around 313 nm, have nearly all of their energy concentrated between 280 nm and 360 nm. A large percentage is at wavelengths shorter than what is present in natural sunlight. There is very little radiation with wavelengths longer than 360 nm. Reversals in the stability ranking of materials have often been reported between laboratory accelerated and outdoor tests when the accelerated test uses UV-B lamps. This occurs because of the large amount of short wavelength UV and the lack of long wavelength UV and visible radiation; the mechanisms of degradation may be significantly different from those of the “natural” tests.
The UV aging test chamber simulates the effect of sunlight with fluorescent ultraviolet(UV) lamps and carry out these circles automatically.While it simulates rain and dew with condensing humidity or waterspray.In a few days or weeks,the UV can reproduce the damage that occurs over months or years outdoors.The damages include fading,color change,chalking,cracking,crazing,embrittlement,strength loss,etc.The test data can help you to select the new materials or improve the performance of materials. Chamber cover introduces the two-way flip type for easy opening and closing.The spec-imen and the shelf constitute the trapezidal inner wall of the chamber.
