Introduction Of High And Low Temperature Test Chamber

June 5, 2024

The products of high and low temperature test chambers simulate the laws of temperature changes in the atmospheric environment. It is mainly aimed at the adaptability test of electrical and electronic products, their components and other materials in the high temperature and low temperature comprehensive environment during transportation and use. Used in product design, improvement, appraisal and inspection.

Temperature fluctuation

This index is also called temperature stability. After the control temperature is stable, the difference between the highest and lowest temperature at any point in the working space within a given arbitrary time interval. There is a small difference here. The "work space" is not the "studio", it is a space about 1/10 of the length of each side of the box wall removed from the studio. This indicator assesses the control technology of the product.

Temperature range

Refers to the extreme temperature that the product studio can withstand and/or reach. It usually contains the concept of constant control, which should be an extreme value that can run stably for a relatively long time. The general temperature range includes extreme high temperature and extreme low temperature.

The general standard requires an index of ≤1℃ or ±0.5℃.

Temperature uniformity

The old standard is called uniformity, and the new standard is called gradient. After the temperature stabilizes, the maximum value of the difference between the average temperature of any two points in the working space in any time interval. This index can evaluate the core technology of the product better than the temperature deviation index below, so many company samples and plans deliberately hide this.

The general standard requires an index of ≤2℃

Temperature deviation

After the temperature stabilizes, the difference between the average temperature of the center of the working space and the average temperature of other points in the working space in any time interval. Although the new and old standards have the same definition and name for this indicator, the testing has changed. The new standard is more practical and more demanding, but the assessment time is shorter.

The general standard requires an index of ±2°C, and the pure high temperature test chamber can be used at a temperature above 200°C according to the actual operating temperature (°C) ±2%.
